Privacy Policy

Wrenchi ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by Mollo Tech AB, provides the Wrenchi mobile application for racing teams that co-own a vehicle. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Account information: your phone number (used to sign you in), a display name, and an optional email address.
• Team and expense data: the teams you belong to, and the expenses, amounts, categories, splits, ownership percentages, events, and vehicle details you and your teammates enter.
• Photos and receipts: images you upload, including receipt photos and team photos.
• Device information: device type, operating system version, and a push-notification token, used to deliver notifications and for diagnostics.
• Usage and crash data: how the app is used and crash diagnostics, to keep the app stable and improve it.

Camera and Photo Access

Wrenchi asks for camera and photo-library access so you can capture receipts and upload team photos. This access is used only when you actively choose to take or pick a photo. We do not access your camera or photo library in the background.

Receipt Scanning (AI)

When you scan a receipt, the receipt image is sent to Anthropic's Claude API, which reads the image and returns structured details (such as the amount, vendor, and date) to speed up expense entry. Only the receipt image and its extracted text are processed for this purpose. See Anthropic's privacy terms for how they handle data passed to their API.

How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Wrenchi service
• Sign you in and keep your session
• Record and split shared expenses and show balances
• Extract details from receipts you scan
• Send push notifications (if enabled)
• Analyze usage and fix crashes to improve the app
• Respond to your requests

Who Can See Your Data

Wrenchi is team-private. The data you add (expenses, events, photos, work logs) is visible to the members of the teams you belong to. It is not public and is not sold or shared for advertising.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, and Cloud Functions), with server-side processing hosted in the European Union. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase: authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, messaging, analytics, and crash reporting
• Anthropic (Claude API): reading receipt images to extract expense details
• Apple and Google: app distribution and push delivery

Children's Privacy

Wrenchi is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of push notifications via your device settings

Account and Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@wrenchi.cc with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Data Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
